Movement Therapy

This is the final step of treatment to help you to get back doing what you love.

Having a deep understanding of how we move has been a critical part of my understanding of the human body.

I frequently say to patients that when you know how things should be done perfectly, any deviation from that is information about your movement efficiency - and what may be contributing to symptoms you have.

Less movement efficiency = More energy to complete movements = Increased movement compensation / Pain + Decreased performance.

The aim is to move as efficiently as possible.

In cases where it is needed, we will implement targeted movement therapy to integrate fully efficient movement patterns that may have been lost. â€‹
